    Ok I don't know if I was supposed to put this in the General Help section so I just put it here...

    Anyways I got my PS3 2 days ago and of course I wanted to connect to the PSN. I can connect to it on the home page but when I put in a game it has to update. I know that's normal but while it updates it gets to a certain place like 50% or 30% and it stops loading. After a few minutes it times out and signs me out of PSN...

    I am feeding off of a wireless service in my area and it's pretty shitty... could this be the reason? PLEASE HELP!

    Yea, it's your network unless your HDD is currupt, try contacting Sony.

    To be honest, I run my PS3 off wireless, and my wireless has to be like the shittiest of the shittiest. But mine never disconnects like that. And like believe me, my connection is beyond shit. So I would say it's probably not your connection. I dunno though
