    Killing Floor, I just bought it.

    If you have left 4 dead, then congratulations you win!

    Killing Floor Sucks, don't buy it at all it's not worth the $19.99!
    Buy Counter-Strike Source instead, you will be so much happier!

    It's slow paced, but tries to be fast paced
    It's wave based, not objective based
    It's spraying with limited ammo
    With random ass enemies that are supposed to be copies of Left 4 Dead special zombies
    And Instead of these special zombies coming everyone once and a while, they are like regular zombies and you can have multiples of each on screen each.

    This game requires no talent at all.

    There is no challenge, this game is horrible!
    I would have rather spend the money on something meaningless and maybe even useless rather then this POS!
    I've got more experience then your mom and a bigger stick then your dad.

    Left 4 Dead has more replayability then Killing Floor.

    Umm this thread fails, Killing Floor is a great value game.... Also, Killing Floor was started in 2004, L4D did all the stealing

    I love how you don't know what you're talking about.

    Killing Floor was originally a UT2004 mod and was out before L4D was even announced. And also, the special enemies don't really have any resemblance of the L4D special infected.

    Killing Floor doesnt suck.. From what I've experienced it brings out the terrified little 8 year old girl in me and the giggling school girls in 40oz and masterofdoom.. However it did get sorta boring. Left 4 Dead imo has endless replay value unless you're bad at it.

    I like Killing Floor more than L4D2. I torrented KF but bought L4D2, mistake I made.....just my opinion though.

    Both games are good but to be honest Killing Floor requires more skill. Also, its not to fun to play on your own but can be fun with friends. Both get repetitive. Also, the special zombies are much easier to kill then those in L4D and they're pretty easy seeing as they come in later waves where you should have decent guns .

    THIS IS A BUMP AND NONE OF THE PREVIOUS POSTS SHOULD BE READ, OR TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION

    Let's all discuss Killing Floor because it's awesome and Jimmy was most likely bad at it and played on normal or hard mode like a scrub.


    The new content patch coming out in 5 days will introduce an Amusement Park, New Achievements, and unlockable Steampunk Mr. Foster skin (I waaaaantt) and new enemy skins.

    Killing Floor Summer Sideshow Event

    Aside from that, Killing Floor is not competitive with L4D, because they are completely different games.

    KF deets:

    -Wave based with features like door welding for that Tower Defense feel.
    - 7 Different classes, with 6 levels each (they take quite some time to max out.)
    - Each of the classes have specific requirements to level up
    - Trader in different spots on the map after every wave (this prevents camping in one spot on the bigger levels)
    - Currency system. (You buy your guns,ammo,armor, etc)
    - Different types of enemies, and equally terrifying and awesome. (Purdy can tell you how I used to react to the Fleshpounds)
    -6 players
    - Very good maps (not really any bad ones)
    - Frequent updates, and seasonal events
    -ONLY $20!!
