This map needs to be removed.

Everyone knows the secrets of this map, the spawn killing is terrible, and the jail is almost locked all the damn time.

I seriously doubt that Akai will be removed. I don't like it anymore either but, your still going to have to play it. In another topic in here I have requested 5 new maps and once they are added things should get slightly better.

What happens is that when the server restarts Akai is the first map that comes up in rotation. That is one of the reasons that it appears to be so popular.

Ownage's server has a horrible rinse and repeat cycle where all the newer or popular maps are over played for example Akai or Legends. Harder maps like Legends often aren't liked by newer surfers because they are possibly to difficult to surf and they always end up in a horrible or unwanted position.

I am not the biggest fan of Akai, but many people like it. Whether that be for the spawn killing, or other attributes, I don't know.

I do know that high level guys just love spawn camping on this map...especially on those ledges with an autosnipe, or awp. Sucks if your a low level guy...so I will wait in my spawn with a shotty if camping becomes much of a problem. Easy way to level as a new player, as one or two kills will give you a nice boost.

Old Bump from poster above, And i think your talking about the wrong map here bud. There is no AWP camping, and you can't get an auto sniper.

Actually on akai there are plenty of places to spawn camp with an awp and the autosniper is in the box at the end of the long ramp when you go into the secret area of akai.

old bump but yes they're are actually crap load of awp spots. In the sniper box, on TOP of the sniper box, on very top of top and on small lamp ledges or on secret ledges near spawn etc.

forget about getting akai removed...not because i like it or some shit...or others like it n alll..even we tried to get rid of that map like 2 years ago...lol trust me that dude is right..till we dont get any good and better maps....akai is going nowhere

luckily ownage atleast removed that skill map in which both the teams actually spawn at the same spot...trust me that map was horrible that any other map for RPG

remember guys.. if you make a thread with a bunch of maps you want on the server, I will put them on. That has always been my policy, so if you really want some new maps, look for some (make sure both teams have separate spawns, otherwise I won't add those)
