He speaks the truth, I use the same exact one.

Works for Xbox 360 and PC. Very high quality, loud as fuck and mic is very flexible, good quality mic, comfortable.

It's an ideal headset.

Or, is there some other way i can use them with an ipod? (i hate earphones that go into your ear)

They won't work with an ipod unless you are near a USB port because they need power from a USB jack in order to have sound.

Headset - A headset is a headphone combined with a microphone.
I'd like something to use for gaming/skype calls/etc and something that has decent audio properties for music listening on the computer. I don't need it for public transportation and/or walking (wtf).

life chat is just like a bluetooth headset right? just one ear and mic? or does it have full on around the ear cushiony headphones?

EDIT: Earphones that go around or on the ear are preferable.. none of that qtip in your ear shit.
