i thought it was good when i just saw it but then after i found out that it costs $$$ to play each certain game it's a thumbs down..and i would rather pay for a game and play it forever then having to buy or rent it..i rather stick with my xbox 360 =]

I think i'm kind of afraid of this catching on. I love my consoles, I love my pc. And if this company hits the shit, what's going to happen to Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony? I enjoy all of the things they have done even if it's not related to vidyah gaymes. The last thing I want to see is the three major console publishers to die out.

yeah onlive is something ive heard back when they were still developing it. truthfully i think it will overtake console games but id say not much people really know about it yet and currently millions of people own the ps3/360/wii and its not like they're going to throw it away to switch to onlive. So i dont see onlive being big any time soon, that being in many years to come and nonetheless i still think people will buy console's just to have it for their own personal reasons. Its pretty cool though. Its true it runs through the internet but not everyone has internet or even a fast one. yes it only takes up 1.5mbps but it requires a minimum of 5mbps just to play high def. Not only that they might not even get the big hit title games, something like halo, with only 16 titles out they still got a long way to go, no doubt. Whats cool though is that they will have titles of new upcoming games by winter which is nuts.

I'm still excited to get one though~!!!! depending on the price of monthly subscription it could be well worth it. And yes that controller looks killer! I remember watching this on g4 t.v. about onlive.

No this shit is going to blow up. There are tons of people out there with shit computers that just won't buy a better computer so that they can play games, this is easily the perfect alternative for that and all they would need to play the games is a mother fucking plug-in, think about it. If only i had a good pc. I have a toshiba with vista and a horrible graphics card. It lags so much when i try to play tf2. it sucks. I have an xbox instead. and halo 3 the best game released for it.
