    Default Jeff Kent announced his retirement today

    Jeff Kent, one of the best offensive second basemen in baseball history, officially announced his retirement today. I only got to watch the very beggining of his announcment because I had to go to class. He seemed pretty sad about it.

    Even though I'm not a Kent fan, he was a major player in baseball.

    Yeah, not huge news but not much has gone on in baseball that doesn't have to do with the Yankees the past couple weeks.
