    Default Heisman/Players/Draft

Register on the forums to remove this ad!
What players are having the best seasons in college football right now? Who do you think will win the Heisman this year? Who do you think will be drafted first? Who from your favorite team do you think will get drafted and how high?

All this and more in this thread....

Also Ron Prince, Kansas States head coach, resigned and will not be the coach after this season.

I think Colt McCoy has some pretty good numbers, but then again so does Graham Harrell and Sam Bradford. Chase Daniels has nice numbers as well but I think his chances of winning Heisman were shot when they lost their 2nd game. I would be really shocked if a Big 12 QB doesnt get the Heisman this year, theres so much talent there right now.

I don't think Chase has a chance now that Colt and Graham are doing so well. I think If Tech loses one more game and Texas wins out Colt will get the Heisman.

The player I think that will get drafted the highest is Nate Swift our WR. He is a bad ass with lots of skill and will definitely play on sundays.

There is not a strong senior quarterback class at all. I think we will see a whole lot of junior quarterbacks coming out for the draft.

I agree with you, but I really dont follow enough football to predict the draft.

Imagine how tough the Big 12 will be next year if no one signs, I know Colt said hes not, Bradford will be back, Robinson at Ok State, and Reesing from Kansas. I dont know if Harrell is eligible or not but maybe he can come back for a 5th year. Its going to be even better next year than it is this year.

And as for Heisman, if Tech can go all the way it will definitely be Harrell, but I think one loss and its going to come down to whether or not Texas wins. Then i think it will come down to team rank, even though Harrell does have better numbers than Colt. The only thing that Colt has that Harrell doesnt is the rushing yards and TDs, which may help him out in the long run.

After Saturdays performance of Tech against OK State I would have to say Harrell is definitely the favorite by far to win the Heisman. Tech showed that they are the real deal in that game and it will be a good game next week against Oklahoma.

ya hes definitely going to be a frontrunner for it, but in the polls McCoy is still leading by a little bit. I think if Harrell beats OU next weekend he will for sure win it though. I really hope OU beats Tech though, that gives Texas a better shot at the National Title

I really want to see Alabama go down to Florida and Tech go down to OU so it will be Texas and Florida in the national championship.

That would be awesome. Although if OU beats Tech then OU might jump ahead of Texas which would suck. Most experts pick Tech and Florida though. Texas and Florida would be an awesome matchup though, both teams with QBs who can both throw and run. Would be an exciting game.

OU wouldn't jump Texas cause Texas beat OU meaning if Texas wins out they will go to the Big 12 Championship not OU. A team can't go to the National Championship game without winning their conference. So the only way OU could get in is if Texas loses again and OU wins out.

If OU was to beat Tech it would come down to who had the highest average ranking right? Isnt that how they figure out 3-way ties? Idk could be wrong i just thought i heard that somewhere.

Yeah but you can't get into the championship game if you don't win your conference. So if Texas wins out and so does OU Texas has the tie breaker so they'll go to the big 12 championship game which they will most likely win. They need someone ahead of them to lose and they'll be in as long as they take care of business.

The only way OU wins the Big12 is if Texas loses to kansas or A&M and thats not going to happen...

    SEC is the best conference.

I hope Tebow does not win the heismen because he has done nothing.

Should be Graham or how ever you spell his name T-TECH QB or colt mccoy.
