So we invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam because of drugs?... Also, last time I checked just because candy doesn't kill neurons in your brain it still doesn't change the fact that its BAD for you. Now I say drugs for "recreational" purposes should be fine if kept in the sanctity of ones home, but all the drug abusers and super addicts are pretty much NOT going to stop looking for drugs even if a damn drug war destroyed a majority of them and arrested a lot of suppliers. Thats why drug wars are pointless.

No one believes in the drug war. Its a lost cause. There is no winning. If you don't believe in doing drugs don't do them. Simple as that. Now it has become a burden on the American public. Lives are being lost on both sides of the war with no end in sight. I sure as hell don't want to be paying for something that I don't believe in so guess that means I believe in the United States and the other countries in the drug war to end it while they still have that option. The fact that you believe in something without any hope in sight shows how shallow your beliefs are.

In regards to the comparison, Drugs vs Candy. hmmm. Its bad for you, but does it KILL neurons and cause a shit load of Mental and CNS illnesses. Regardless of where you do the drugs they are still bad for you lol. Addicts and hardcore drug users will not stop looking for them, but yr 11 economics teaches us supply vs demand. If there is a shortage, price goes up, cuts people out of the market. Eventually addicts will not have the cash to feed their addiction.

I see, interesting just a few points; Marijuana isn't bad for you?? So why the fuck would they make it illegal, ban it, get upset with Micheal Phelps for doing it?? Tobacco and Alcohol is bad for you, yet it doesn't cause the severity of the problems that illict drugs cause.

Legalisation is a good idea when you have too many druggies, but hmm if you irradicate a problem (such as terrorism) then it will no longer be as bigger threat.

I also don't condone governments controlling our life, they are banning a substance, like they say "You cannot have weapon or energy grade yellow cake uranium in your backyard"; hmm I will ask you to ponder whether they are controlling our lifes or whether they are saying "We are going to make it illegal, so all of the idiots out there don't go and buy Uranium and keep it in a tub in the back yard.

It is not a matter of ignorance, it is a matter of stupidity in regards to the drug using population.

Also with those stats, gg. 600million people just in America, hmm, Alcohol and Tabacco are still bad for you, but they are not illegal. And some people smoke or drink too much for too long (any at all is bad, but it doesn't result in instantaneous death), therefore there is a mucher greater death rate.
