SPLIT-SCREEN FREE ROAMING GAME?

What are the chances of there being a game like GTA IV but with the option of split-screen multiplayer.

I think If the game had GTA 3 graphics it'd be possible.

Think about it. A game with every feature GTA San Andreas had, but with 4 player split-screen multiplayer.

I'd pre-order the shit out of it.

Didn't one of the GTA's have a split screen built in?... I remember running around with one of my buddy's running him over with cars and beating him up with big double sided dildo's... not sure if it was split screen though, It's been way to long since iv played any of the GTA games to remember.

What me and all my friends are waiting for is a multiplayer free roaming rpg like Morrowind or Oblivion, The ability to coexist in the elder scrolls universe, being able to settle the dispute of whose pc is more bad ass in a arena match, or being able to do quests with someone other then the incompetent masochistic npc's that like to run in front of any and every attack, if they used the Morrowind item/skill engine(better spells like fly ect, more items and weapons, and the ability to even customize lighting in your house with collected lights) with the graphics/player(possibly the combat system) customization aspects from oblivion I am pretty sure that it'd be the the best rpg game to come out even if they didn't make it split screen and went with system link or over the net, I think it'd be kick ass, and the added ability to mod your own content, create new quests and story lines, create graphic and script modifications as you see fit with the construction set for the pc versions of the game and some way of transferring the mod's over to the Xbox 360(Haha fat chance I know right?)..... *drool*

I don't think it will ever happen though, since every game maker is busy trying to make MMoRpgs to cash in on subscriptions and item selling or making carbon copy adventure/Fps games.
