i was in 6th grade, and they let us go home, so we went by cousins house n we had pizza.... thats all i remember
Second grade. everyone seemed so down I think we had early dismissal? Came home my mom had gotten off of work early and it took my dad a while to get home because of traffic coming out of DC and such. I have a loooooooooooot of family in New York, and lost an aunt. Was a really sad day, it's a tragedy to see people be a dick about it, but hey, it's the internet. what's crying?
I remember our retard principal having our teachers turn on the tvs in the classrooms so we could see what was happening. I still can't get the images out of my head of the people jumping from the towers. I could not help but think what if that was my dad/mom working in that office, and being nationally televised as they chose falling to their death as supposed to being burnt alive. I was very disgusted with the media that day, as well as the faculty at my school. Around lunch time my dad came to pick me and my sister up. My sister was crying her eyes out because our aunt works in the fashion biz and goes to NY all the time, and my sis thought she might have been on one of the flights. Then we just went home and watched in shock as everything else took place and the towers fell. Very depressing day in America.
I was in my living room watching the towers go down.
It was real sad, and what made it worse was that it happened on my birthday.![]()
i was in my 6th grade math class and they announced it over the loud speaker. everyone thought it was a joke until they sent us home...
