The game is played in a private match, on the game type 'Search and Destroy'. The player who is selected as 'Michael Myers' is on one team, while usually 3 or more are on the other team. Michael Myers can only use knives (some allow throwing knives) to kill of all of the players. This is very similar to tag. Once Michael has killed all but one player on the opposing team, the player who is not Michael Myers may kill him by use of knife.
