WoW is a waste of money and time in your case.
Because the game's Primary target is to get you addicted and MAKE you pay for this addiction (every month?). Judging from your list, you've been playing that game for quite some time. In return, you get/got nothing, no benefits. It's a video game. You should spend that money on something that counts and spend that time doing something that requests creativity/thinking.

In the end, the one who gets to decide what is and Was s a waste of money is yourself after 5-10 years. Of course, others have been through your (generally speaking) situation too so yeah, they can judge a little.

It's not a waste of my time If I enjoy playing it... What benefit do any of you get from sitting on these forums and posting all the time? Nothing.. It's just fun. You meet people on the forums that you enjoy talking to and you enjoy listening to the pranks but they benefit you in no way at all except for providing enjoyment which is exactly what WoW does for people. When I get bored of WoW, and it's happened a few times, I stop paying for it.. but when I find entertainment in something I have no problem paying for it. And really $14 a month isn't that bad.. Considering tons of people spend hundreds of dollars on alcohol and partying a month which also has no benefit.. except for a bit of fun, but also leads to alcoholism and addiction... So really the same shit you're saying about WoW could be said about several other things people spend their money on..

So In conclusion I say once again, "To each their own". If you find enjoyment in something and want to spend money on it.. Power to you because you decide what you enjoy and you decide what you spend your money on.

It's not like the only people that play WoW are from one area. There's foreign people on WoW too and to be honest If i hadn't started playing WoW there's tons of things I never would have been exposed to. I've made a lot of really good friends on WoW that know me a lot better than my real friends do.. Paying for WoW is no different than paying for Xbox Live or anything like that..

Also, paying money for something you enjoy doing has nothing to do with having a wrong appreciation for money.. I'm sure you've gone out and spent money on alcohol and drinking with your friends and stuff like that.. is that "wrong appreciation of money"? It's just different strokes for different folks
