yessss, i admit it...i have a modfied one....can't stand the fact that i should buy games, when i could get them for free.... but still, that has a downside
now i want to play with my "ek bok....lie"...so, i have no idea what to do...if i update it, i fear that it might be detected by microsoft that it's modified, so i have no idea what to do, and i can't wait to play online with you guys
so....any advice?
update it to the latest firmware and check all your games with abgx360 iso checker

uhm take your xbox to the person who modded it or find someone that can mod it for you and ask them to put the latest firmware on it which is lite touch
then all the games you download you have to check with abgx360
all this shit works with any xbox 360

damn, so i do need the firmware :-s
my hard drive is the one with the yellow wires, not the white one, so i know it's not benq, its the other one, cant remember the name. anyway, no i cant get back to the guy i modded the xbox at, he's back at KSA, and am here at egypt right now. and i know its a pretty messed up process from the xbox forums, and i dunno if anyone heard about this over here. ....so there's no other way, eh?

im not too sure about this but my buddy whos into modding 360s and that kind of shit told me that youre more likely to get banned while playing a game than when updating your console.
im about to buy a new xbox later this week and have him jtag it. gonna be fun

almost all of the newer xboxes can't be jtagged, if the manufacture date on it is in 2008 or before you have a good chance but after that they are updated to the latest kernalgo ahead and update your console you should be fine.

you can put homebrew on it which makes it so you can get all the dlc from xbox live for free like arcade games and game addons and then you can put the games on the hdd instead of burning them to discs also you can mod games like cod and make yourself run faster and have unlimited ammo etc.

yeah I just bought one from ebay shits aren't cheap though 140 bucks for the console only, the newest motherboard xbox I think it's called jasper can sell for up to 300 bucks for just the console

I use xbox live membership, xbox live gold membership and xbox live 12 month gold membership cards - Instant Live Codes - www.instantlivecodes.com its almost half the price of buying directly from your xbox and they email you your code within an hour or 2 so u dont have to wait for one of those cards with the code on to arrive (like u buy in stores) Not sure if u can buy from Egypt though.

if u wont 2 go on "ek..bok..live" u need to stealth patch ur games tht u burned 2 a dvd+or- disc do NOT!!! use cd's use dvd-R or Dvd-R u will need

lol you cant burn games onto CDs.
