Art Section

So Ownage and I were discussing this a little bit, and we wanted to hear your opinions on the idea.

I've noticed we have a lot of artists on the forums, this includes playing instruments, singing, painting, drawing, photography, all these sorts of skills.

How would you guys feel about have a section of the forms called Art or something. You could each make your own individual thread to post your works, for example Sammi is very talented when it comes to music and art. So within the Art section there would be a thread called "Sammi" This is where Sammi could post all of her music that she makes as well as her paintings. Anyone would be able to make their own thread in this section. Some of the people I've noticed would be Sammi, Jess, Caveman, Techy, along with many others.

However i dont think there should be threads with names as titles.
A simple Art(Section)->Song Covers, Paintings etc (subforum)->Thread title is ok i think.

But yeah, we should have an Art section.

Well I know Techy wants his own section for his drawings and I think that's justified. It would make finding a piece of art you liked easier as well, instead of looking through ALL the paints to find the one that jess did of the joker, you could just go to her Artist thread.

yes, but not have specific sections for each person.. then you would have to add new ones for new people..

just have sections like music, painting/drawing, photography and miscellaneous..

edit: techy doesnt want a section for it.. he just wants his own thread..

We'll do whatever the majority of people Want, we can either do what Purdy Suggested, Have the Art Section with Paintings, drawings, music, photography threads, Or we can have the Art Section and the Threads would be created and titled with the artists name, and then all new people to join the forums would make their own self titled thread within that section to post their art.

That's what I was thinking. A self titled thread and you post ALL of your art in there so Sammi's thread would have her paintings, her music, and all that in one place.
