Hokay, so I want to restore my computer to the way I got it, I have windows 7.
I have a lot of questions, if you can answer just a few that would be fine for me.
I just need halp and I'm not very computer savvy, I googled, and failed at that apparently, so I turn to my nerds for help!
- If I do this, will Windows 7 still be on my computer?
- How long does it generally take?
- How do I do it?
- Do computers with Windows 7 come with disks to do this?
- Can you be dumb and do this, or will I need help? xD
I'll probably add more later.
Help is much appreciated, as is other answers to questions I may not have asked.

Your computer probably came with restore discs. It should basically just be like a reinstallation of Windows.
Try booting off the disc (assuming you have it), and follow the directions. It should be straightforward enough so even nuubies like you can do it.

Can you be dumb and do this, or will I need help? xD I guess.
Do computers with Windows 7 come with disks to do this? Unless you got it pre-configured, otherwise it should.
How do I do it?If you want to restore it to a previous date then, go to my computer, right click -> properties -> system restore tab ( xp swag dun know if thats how it goes for 7) Otherwise, put put disc in, restart PC, on CP BOOT, NOT WIN BOOT press F11 ( i think, depends ) and then proceed to boot from disk, should be good from there.
Glad I could help you Ms., Thank You for calling.
Bitch, I already told you.
Download ISO of Windows 7.
Find windows key on side of computer on a stupid looking sticker.
Burn downloaded ISO to a cd as an image. Use ISOburn or something like that.
Put burned CD in drive.
Follow steps on computer screen
Profit.

Hit F11 or F10 one of those and it should bring you to a entire system restore

for Win7 Start -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore to set it back to a restore point, Works sometimes and will save your programs/files and fix registry errors/missing system files it will not help to get rid of viruses though, if you just reinstall you will lose all your data but will fix everything, it is all pretty self explanatory both will guide you step by step. takes roughly 30 mins- hour and a half depending on the speed of your computer and what selections you pick to reinstall, roughly 20mins to do a restore. if doing a system restore, restore it to a date when it was last working properly( will likely be that last time you installed something or if your auto restore point is turned on i think it makes one every week or so)
If it is a brand name there will be a HP or w/e file that might have the system restore there instead of in the system tools folder.
Good luck.
