The much anticipated forum awards are now reaching their climax and the voting is to begin now! Choose your favorite member in each category and make sure to do the questions that are in BOTH links.

Rules:
1. Each user may vote ONE(1) time (The site logs IP addresses) and may only select ONE(1) member in each category.
2. The winner is the member who receives the highest number of votes before the voting period ends.
3. In the result of a tie, both members will receive the award.
4. In the result of one member winning multiple awards, the member will be contacted and asked the choose which award they would like to have. The awards that the member does not choose will go to the person with the second highest number of votes

Thanks to everyone for their nominations and good luck to all of the candidates! Prizes will be announced when the winners are announced (more info to come). The voting will end early next week and hopefully by that time everything that needs to be sorted out will be sorted out. Feel free to discuss the voting here. Just don't promote yourself or anyone else too much.

*Note: We're still looking to submissions for the pictures that will be placed under the winners name's. Post them here if you could. Now that you know the categories, you can create the images.

Although, I've gotten suggestions, about how somehow you should include pictures of the people nominated for Best looking, but if not, shit happens.

You don't. Ask if you'd like to know and I'll provide a screenshot. I'm not doing this too frequently though.

1. you can vote for more then 1 person
2. you can just hop around town and vote for who every you want if your a dick enough or proxy. why not make it like last year and hand count it. its the best way.

If someone wants to go out of their way to win a forum award, by using proxy after proxy to vote for themselves, then that's nothing but sad. Like I said. We'll see how this goes and if it becomes evident that there are problems, the awards will be done with no winners.

That's what I was wondering. Just make a thread for every award and have a poll attached to each. Easy, with no loop holes.

As of right now, the results are along the lines of what was expected from the nomination threads. We'll try this and see how it goes.

It's better in a sense that it's anonymous so people can vote honestly instead of just picking the "popular" person.

Reasons why this isn't being done on the forums:

1. Users can see the current results and jump on a bandwagon.
2. It takes as little time to create a new account here and vote without ever posting than it does to jump on a proxy.
3. Another 12 threads is just overkill all over again.
