As a note to everyone...

The winners/threads/posts that are nominated must have happened WITHIN THE LAST YEAR. Consider this when nominating people in the future and thinking about these awards.

For example, best moderator award is going to the moderator who did the best job in the last 12 months.

The awards shouldn't be something abstract. It should be a list of 10 or 12 generic awards that mean a lot to users. If there are only 12 awards, it makes them special and it really makes those users stand out.

That's the plan. These will have nice rewards (1-3 Months of VIP) and the custom picture that will be below your name (similar to the VIP one) will make it well worth the time.

Maybe we could have an award for the person who finds the best/most material. Such as people who find stuff like movie trailers, game stuff, news etc.

Even though this site is at times just a RSS feed I was thinking of adding something like this. Maybe an award for "Best Funny Content Poster". (Needs to be worded in a better way)

Yesss, the forum awards, I'm excited!! I liked a lot of the suggestions and I agree with bacon we should keep the awards around like 10-15 or something like that. However, Ownage feels there shouldn't be an award for best troll or anything like that, due to the fact that there's no point in encouraging trolls and that sort of behavior.
