This is a tough one to fix to be honest but it's do-able.

Start by reading this excerpt and following the steps noted.

First, you need to make sure that your computer is set to then latest automatic updates. Issues such as getting a Runtime Error R6034 may well be caused by missing updates that are necessary to keep the computer running at an optimum performance. It's also an advantage for you to check on how well this can also provide the best things needed to get the computer working at its maximum performance. Second, ensure that your computer is frequently scanned in order to detect any possible spyware or viruses that can affect the system performance of the computer. Looking into these things can save you from any problems brought about by Runtime Error R6034.

One basic and important thing that is usually done to facilitate the removal of the error is to use a registry cleaner. Registry cleaner will work to delete some of these corrupt and missing files and remove them in a way that this cannot affect the computer. Basically these software utility can provide a great help in manually deleting files that may have caused the Runtime Error R6034 that you're getting. It's also a big way for you to check on the possibility in making this as a good way in providing the best opportunities that can be worked and saved upon by using registry cleaners to do this one.

It's been reported to be a virus but I don't think you've got a virus. From what I've heard about error R6034, you need to get rid of it quickly or you're in shit. Worst case, back up what you need now onto a hard drive and reformat in the future if no solution comes.

    Good luck!

Windows prides itself on giving you vague error messages.

At least on Mac/Linux you can look at the system log to see what happened precisely.

I downloaded Visual C++ to try as a compiler.

Wow...what an experience. Microsoft sure makes some crappy things. They should stick to Office...In my opinion it's all they do well.
