I'm pretty excited for this game to come out! It's supposed to come out this October,
which is still a while a way but I loved fable 2 so I'm pretty stoked

I've been hearing Fable 3 is going to make up for the abomination that was Fable 2 which makes me really excited because Fable 1 is still one of my favorite games.
Oh and I will rage if I dont get a dog.

There's a dog, if you go to the official website there's a screen shot and you can see the dog in the background sort of. I liked fable 2 though, but It was crap unless you do all the side quests. If you don't the game goes really fast. But also, the save data from fable 2 is going to carry over into fable 3. So depending on whether you were good or evil, and all the choices you made will determine what you're like starting off in fable 3 as well.

Would fable 2 be a good game for me to try? I'm getting sick of COD and would love something new.

Ok I'm debating between Assassins Creed 2 and Fable 2. I've never played a game like this before so I'll need some opinions. What do you guys think?

I really liked fable, and my sister's fiance really liked it as well. It's fun because you get to make choices about stuff and it effects how the rest of the game goes. And you can have sex lol and have kids and stuff. It's a rather funny game actually. And the nice thing about it is, that it's not a REALLY long game. And then even after you beat the main story line events you can still keep playing and doing quests and sleeping with prostitutes and other such things as that lol

I never played Fable 1 and got Fable 2 new for $20. IMO best investment I ever made. So if you want to enjoy Fable 2, be like me, don't get Fable 1. Especially since save data transfers. Which is totally copying Mass Effect. =P
I'm still way excited for this though. Especially all the things they're introducing. Like your weapons will morph and change over time as you use them. Like if you do bad shit to good people, you weapon becomes "evil" and vice versa. Then you can trade and sell em and it'll be like "The Motherfucking Ultra-Ass Evil Pwning Sword of SaW1833" and shit like that.
Sounds better when you read it first hand and not hear it from me. =P
I wish they could go back to the old Fable 1 days. They're leaving the RPG-genre completly this time. I think it's gonna be a fail.
Btw, I'd go for Fable 2. AC2 wasn't so fun imo, felt so repetive with the combat. And they all were so easy. I stopped buying meds just to make it harder, and it still was easy becouse as long as I block and counter, they had no chance to damage me unless they were the big ones.
1 is better than 2 on storyline and fun.. 2 is better graphics.. but lacks a good creative story and the existance of a boss battle
get fable: the lost chapter for pc.. even though it got good ratings.. its one of the most under rated games iv ever seen
lionhead are still keepin their cards close to their chests about fable 3.. same info they gave from like 5 months ago, but i hope its a bit more challenging than fable 2.. also, i heard that Jonathon Ross is doing a voice for it
Like Saw said, If you've never played one and want to try 2 just do it because if you play 1 you'll most likely end up being massively disappointed with Fable 2. AC2 will have a more captivating story than Fable 2 so just keep that in mind while making your decision

i wish i had gotten the knothole island expansion for fable 2 but i didnt.
im guessin by AC2.. you mean assassins creed..?
i honestly wouldnt ever even bother with it again.. after that first game.. unless somebody tells me its the best game ever or something.. just not worth all that repetitive bullshit again, and iv seen previews and it looks pretty dam similar to the first
fable 2 sucked. i started playing it and i just didnt get the point. i got zero enjoyment out of it.

Yeah AC1 was REALLY repetitive but it still had a really solid storyline. AC2 has more variety aswell as a good storyline.

i think they should have tried to sell it better though.. fair enough, people who liked AC1 would have played it anyway
but the people who were still unsure got nothing from the commercials and adverts.. most i saw different about the second game was the fact that you were able to sail in a row boat -.-
