    Hey guys, im using a pathetic laptop for gaming .. but im thinking about a new one.

    Will it run games good ? (Bc2,Mw2, cod4 etc.)

    This is probably the best gaming laptop you will get for under a grand....

    Any laptop graphics in the newer series less than a 260 blows.... don't get any 300 series for laptops as of now.

    Laptops for gaming aren't the way to go if your budget is under 1grand really...you're better off getting a decent PC for around 800$. Plus as games improve their graphics you can't update your video card and such with a laptop.

    I mean sure that could most likely run MW2 and such but some scenes and in some situations your fps won't be too great and you'll most likely wanna play at LOW Settings.

    If he wants a laptop he probably has a reason for it. Yeah he won't become a professional gamer on it but if he just wants to play some games in his spare time you can certainly do it on a laptop......Will it be as good as on a desktop? Absolutely not, but everyone has different needs and wants so there's no need to get angry.

    in my opinion, laptops are never worth what you pay for.
    youre better off spending those $900 on a custom built desktop that would be much much better.
