Lacrosse is a team sport of Native American origin that is played using a large squishy rubber ball and a long-handled racquet called a crosse or lacrosse stick.

Offensively, the objective of the game is to use the lacrosse stick to catch, carry, and pass the ball in an effort to score by shooting the ball into an opponent's goal. Defensively, the objective is to keep the opposing team from scoring and to dispossess them of the ball through the use of stick checking and body contact or positioning.

that's because it's a goalie's stick going for the ball. the rest are average players.


also guys' lacrosse nets have much much deeper pockets than girls' lacrosse sticks.

And you're a moderator, so if you feel that this thread shows inability to appoint focus, by all means close it, but when you're closing it think of the children, think of the hundreds of thousands in Ghana and Kenya who've never seen a lacrosse stick or are completely ignorant to Tiger Woods for that matter, think of the children.

I personally found this thread very informative and intelligently structured. I learned a great deal from this thread. So maybe he made this thread to teach some more ignorant people of this quite pleasant sport.
