Ps3
Ek Bok lie(xbox live)
Nintendo Wii
Hey i want too see who preferes the ps3 or xbox live (Ek Bok Lie) or Nintendo wii
Atleast XBOX got good servers and not to mention the marketplace. Love it, and avatars and all that. There is simply much more to do in XBOX live. You can get 12 months XBOX live for 5$ anyways, not that expensive.
EDIT: Someones gonna ask me where I get XBOX Live for 5$. Well, thats Ebay, peeps

I love xbox live but I hate the fact that it's not free like ps3 and wii =/
The Thing On ( Ek Bok lie) xbox live) i don't like is when you stand it up you're disk fucks up and that the you gotta pay to go online i know it doesn't cost much.
Thing on ps3 i hate is if you leave it on too much (Congratulations you just got a yellow light of death)
Never happens to me but if it does i can fix it easy it will only last for a month and il sell it by then =) pertend its new and it's never been broken after 1month gg guy who bought it and i go buy a new one
Advice:: Never I say never buy a used ps3 because probably the yellow light of death already happend and the guy who had it fixed it and it only lasts for one month after that it comes back so you're fucked if it happens but not totally fucked you can dissemble it and fix it you're self as long as you repeat that each month you're ps3 will stay fine
i like ps3 for its blu-ray and its awesome exclusive games but xbox has good online, i still think xbox and ps3 should team up and make an uber epic gaming system

Honestly, they all do their own things right, I don't know why this is still going on, lets have a quick comparison shall we?
Xbox 360:
Starting out: Start was very shitty, with a 42% failure rate
Correction: Yes, smaller CPU, Bigger fans (Which is where they messed up.)
Price: Could be lower, but alright ($299.99 - Best Buy)
Online Cost: Yes, depending on what you want, 12 month being $50.00
Online Experience: Great dashboard, great community, near to no lag (unless it's you
messing it up AKA your computer downloading while playing)
Online run: 1st party host (Microsoft)
Community: Same as all other consoles, full of people talking shit... Still occasionally
cool people.
Movies: Yes
Most used sentences online: "Suck my balls", "You scrub", "You noob" & "You're
garbage"
Playstation 3:
Starting Out: Very well, had just a few overheat too much.
Correction: Yes, bigger fans.
Price: Could be lower, but alright ($349.99 - Best Buy)
Online Cost: No
Online Experience: Great "Home", great community, some lag every once in a while.
Online run: 3rd party host (I believe to be "Edge", please correct me if I'm wrong)
Community: Same as all other consoles, full of people talking shit... Still occasionally
cool people.
Movies: Yes
Most Used sentences online: Unknown (If you know tell me and I'll change this)
Wii:
Starting out: Very well, the screen appears to be frozen at the language select screen
when playing some games.
Correction: Yes, fixed the Wii Remote sensor bars.
Price: Could be a lot lower, for what the system does, and graphics wise. ($368.99 - Best
Buy)
Online Cost: No (Unless you want some better channels, then yes.)
Online Experience: While it may be fun, it is quite laggy at some points.
Online Run: 1st Party (Nintendo, but correct me if I'm wrong please)
Community: Very nice, in most cases just people looking for a family fun environment.
Movies: Yes
Most Used sentences online: NA
As you can see, they are all pretty much similar, while each console has its ups and downs, they accomplish the same exact thing. You can't really say that one is better then the other, while it is opinionated, you can't prove it with facts. Therefore the opinions about which console is better are all VOID.
-Welcome to the forums, LeGiTMGU
First and for-most, on or off, standing up your console with a disk in it is asinine. I ran every Xbox 360 I ever had vertically until I got bored of it. I only ever ruined one disk, and that's because we were fooling with the 360's on and ended up bumping one. $20 and 6 weeks to replace that copy of MW2.
As far as my 360 history: Got a 360 Premium back in the day, one day it RROD while playing GTA4. Yay. Sent it in, fixed for free even though I'd had it for a long time, over a year and a half at least. Got it back, 2 weeks later, I was experiencing graphical problems and sent that in under its warranty.
In the mean time, I bought an Arcade edition (last year around March I want to say) and just used the stuff from my other 360. It's been working great so far. Short after I got the other 360 back again, I sold it on eBay as refurbished (managing to actually have a second set of HD wires, a second HDD, and a second headset to sell it as a premium even!).
Great another site, Where people decide which system is better.
Heres is the Answer : buy both and play both.
Jeez..
My reason for my existence is ideology....don't think I don't hate these people too.
To makes laws, rules, restrictions ; This world must be yours but If not then Im going to burn it down. Sometimes it's better that way.

I can't either, but just think about all the people that take to time to create forums about which console is better, when in reality they all have their very own specifications.
Take the playstation 3 for example, it's specification is a built in Blu-Ray, Xbox 360 is Xbox Live, Wii is Family fun. People just need to take time to think about the consoles instead of jumping on the first conclusion they come to, which would be "The console I own right now is the best one because I own it" Instead of taking personal preference into account and knowing how to split up personal preference from actual facts. Which, indeed, I did.
Thus the reason I took the time to write my last post and this post also.
i think this thread should be closed.
theres really no way of telling which console is better.
its strictly about personal preference.

There are many rounds go watch. Pro tech review.
Yeah, the online is...
The games are terrible though, just in my opinion.
I mean xbox has, Gears 2, and um Halo? Halo imo, has sucked since Halo 1. Gears 2 is the only "okay" exclusive. The rest of Xbox "exclusives" I can play on my PC, with better graphics, and a better online community (Steam). PS3 has so many awesome exclusives which makes it worth buying. Uncharted 1 & 2, MGS4, inFamous, MAG, Heavy Rain, Resistance 1&2, Ratchet and clack tod, Gran turismo prologue, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, Socom, wipeout, flower, fat princess, warhawk, motorstorm, and the list goes on...
Those are all quality games, that you don't really see on the Xbox...
Not to mention that the 360 is actually more expensive. You need to add 50$ for online, on all the non slim models an extra 100$ if you want wifi, a specific hard drive, a specific mic. ehh idk.
PS3 also has blu-ray which makes the value go way up lol.
I dunno why i just wrote all that im so bored. thats just my view on it, and my opinion. i like the xbox, i just personally prefer the games, and blu-ray over what the xbox offers.
Hi.
Microsoft and Sony both did some adjustments this year that makes it tough to choose, especially with first-time next gen console buyers. The Slim 360 fixed the wifi and hard drive problem (value-wise, no more extra spending) and Playstation's new premium service Plus puts it in a fair competition with Xbox's Marketplace but IMO, it all comes down to PS3 for the free online gaming.
