- Consoles can't upgrade hardware. It's harder to develop for PC because every PC is different. Consoles create a standardized platform that developers can fully learn and exploit. Most of those every-6-months PC advancements(faster procs and video adapters) just result in the same games with slightly better graphics.
- Consoles can't overclock. ?????
- Consoles can't play with a Mouse/Keyboard. Ps3 supports it. Besides, some people prefer using a controller.
- Consoles can't play without a TV. You can play a console on a monitor. TV's allow more room for split-screen multiplayer which the PC is really lacking. So far only a few PC games support split-screen multiplayer and Gaming PCs are primarly used for desktops which makes split-screen uncomfortable unlike consoles which are meant for couches(they have room for other people)
- Consoles are tied by DRM. Aren't PC gamers complaining about annoying DRM?

1. Steam for PS3? Ha.Speculation at best.
2. Is it not true?
3. No, because all PC's are x86, so they're all using the same code. 360/PS3/Wii are different architectures, requiring you do essentially develop the game three times.
4. Google "Overclocking" and come back to me.
5. PS3 supports it for the crappy browser. You can't game with it.
6. Perhaps if you have a huge ass monitor with HDMI, which then defeats the point. Split-screen is always terrible to play on as well when you only have 1/4 of the screen.
7. DRM is either nonexistent, acceptable (Steam), or can be easily stripped.
