I was in lunch and i had bearly gotten this Fwd of a freind of mine singing (sings horrible) and well i finished hearing it and put it in my pocket and like 2 mins later this assistant principal tells me i saw you from all the way over there that you were useing your phone and i was like cmon out of all the people useing it you have to take mine. and i am kinda bummed about it knowing i couldent go to a party to get a ride but well i guess i diserved it now i gotta pay 15$

Maybe you should keep your head up and know where the deans are so if you see one making a B-line for you, you can: put away the phone, pass the phone to a friend, dip, or hide. In the group that I sit with lunch, a dean can be 50ft away and we'll still be able to warn eachother.

Wow...In my school you straight up get 3 days in school suspension for phones....

That's some African American* shit, at my school, IF the teacher takes it, all you have to do is go and get it from your dean. You'll only get days home if you don't give it to the teacher right away or something along those lines. Even then, you'll usually just get ALC (In school suspension) which is actually more fun than just regular school.

im pretty sure its illegal if you have to pay the school for something that they took from you, which is technically stealing and a bribe. if a teacher tells me to give over the phone i just say no and argue with them until they finally give up. it works.

Pretty sure if you refuse to give it they can get security to escort you out of the class and confiscate it since you're on school grounds or ask you to leave otherwise known as suspension or expulsion.

Anyways...the teacher can only take it and take it to the office and either have you pick it up after class or have it be your parents come in and pick it up, they can't put a fee on the object they took from a student especially if it's just a phone.

At the beginning of the school year they give you a bunch of forms, where you basically sign most of your rights away to that sort of thing.

From what I heard, at my school they can't confiscate anything over $1000. So they couldn't take my laptop from me.
