    Default Splinter Cell: Conviction

Anyone played it yet? I have to say, I was expecting a little more, but I was also scared to hell that it would suck. To be honest I wasn't really disappointed.

Also, I can't say co-op storyline was bad, as it was just a prequel to the main story, but the twist ending to co-op mode was actually pretty awesome.

Overall a great game, let me know what you guys think.

How were the graphs? I was looking at the commercials and it just looked horrid.

For this generation, graphics were good. I've seen better, but there was definitely no lack in detail.

And what part of the second level? I could help. PM of course.

Co-op mode is more like the previous ones.
I like this newer one though because it has a deeper story line and the gameplay itself is awesome.

The problem is, when you make changes, you can't please everyone, so you have to please as many as you can. They did this by making Sam a character with a deeper personality, where as in the first three games he was relatively flat and static. Now he's more dynamic and involved in a more dynamic story.

It's getting epic ratings everywhere, and I did truly love that game. So I guess it's just you and other like-minded.

But everyone has their preferences, I won't slam on you for yours.

Its not bad but its not splinter cell you know? No more spies vs mercs no jump button, No REAL shadows or gogglles and stuff like that I just got my hopes up for a game like Chaos Theory.

I do miss spies vs mercs. that was a bad call on their part. shadows and goggles seem more plausible than they used to be. i just dont like that it turns grey when you're "hidden" as it makes it hard to see and subtracts from the beautiful graphics they have.

Spies vs Mercs was soooooo fucking fun; that's what gave Conviction such good replay value. And I agree with Toasterz in that it just doesn't feel like a Splinter Cell game anymore.

You mean Chaos Theory and Double Agent.
    Conviction is the new one.

I did play some Hunter. Fun, but not much replay value there either.
I have yet to try Face-Off and Last Stand. I can see last stand getting boring, but can see Face-Off being okay.

    Default splinter cell conviction

Started playing this, completely stuck in mansion this is not splinter cell. Savepoints are ridiculous. Last straw was when i got killed and not shot one baddie and it jumped to the next section and could not go back to last savepoint without restarting the mansion from the beginning. Its a shoot em-up. Sorry but you must all be super gamers.
Never had any complaints about previous Splinter Cells.

Nice bump and honestly it was one of the easiest games I've ever played. Save points are fine for me, and I've beat plenty of missions totally stealth style.

The graphics on the PC I thought were amazing looking. I could say possibly a bit better than crysis at times in my oppinion. Comming straight from Double agent on PC to Conviction I deffinantly think they should have kept some of the older elements of gameplay so far but then again I have only been towards the begining so far. Hopefully it gets more epic.
