Remote Registering Fail

Yea, I got a Nintendo Wii for christmas and about 3 weeks later my Wii remote stop registering with the console, so I figured it was just the batteries so I go and put brand new ones in and go try it again and the four lights at the bottom just flash for about 5 seconds and they shut off, so I go and get more batteries THEN only 2 lights flash, and it still wont register with the Wii Console I don't know what to do and I would really like to fix this.
Any suggestions?

but seriously what you have to do is microwave the thing for like 30 seconds...as ridiculous as it sounds, that should solve the problem. it happened to me like a month ago and is working fine today

Try pressing the red sync button on the remote and the console.

I have a Wii, PS3 and 360 the Wii is mainly my sisters though, and I have tried pressing the red synch button. Still nothing.

You sure you havent put it in your ass or anything? Rectal fluids can be highly damaging to the internal electronics.

Try going into the Wii settings and making it forget all remotes.
