    I have typed in to the fravorites search thing the ip addresses which I found in the 100% owned by OP thread but it didn't work...

    When you have steam open, click servers on the bottom and add it to your favourites there. Should work.

    Go into console and type connect 8.9.30.230:27015. If it doesn't work type retry.

    Lets say I get a cracked version of CSS, would it work? Cause I can get a fully functioning CSS, without steam. But would I need steam to connect to the server?

    You can only play on cracker servers with a cracked version of the game. If you want to play just buy it, it's $19.99 or something cheap like that.

    Yes, there are very few cracked servers around and most of them are gungame and other bullshit but they exist.

    Yeah, I know they exist lol and I know that with the cracked version I have I can go on cracked servers. I want to know if ownage's server is steam related so that I have no choice but to buy the game. The reason I'm asking this is because one guy posted you can get a cracked version on warez and play on that server.

    Alright I'll go do that. But just out of curiosity, when you get the CD, does it come with a code or something that allows steam to verify you're a legit user? Just wondering the difference between a legit game and cracked game. I'll still buy it though.
