    I just wrong my final essay in my Composition class, and used forums to do it, even cited info and stuff users posted from it. Got an A. (No way in hell was it these forums, but still)

    I had to do MLA

    And DUH it's easier to go the negative route, I went the positive route to prove a point.. and obviously I did since I got the highest score in the class.

    I had to write a similar paper on how the media portrays cults and new religions and I compared 2 articles of different languages and how they portrayed the religion. This shows that the media is biased in most cases (usually when they attract a larger population of readers). If you wish, PM and I can send you it or post it somewhere, for good ideas; I got a perfect grade on it (and the teacher has a PhD, so it's pretty legit). Lol maybe I posted this too late!

    how much time do you have to turn it in?

    if it's more than a week,(took me a week to read, maybe less) and you won't mind reading, then i would recommend reading Amusing Ourselves To Death by Neil Postman. The Medium is the metaphor is where you will find alot of information that could be useful. You could also use the chapter in which Postman argues something about sesame street and how it is influencing children, by making "learning" fun.

    i hope it helps b/c it really helped me last year for my AP essay
