Should I use Windows 7 If

I have a Creative Sound Blaster X Fi Elite Pro
I also have a P5Q Deluxe Motherboard with a Q6600 Motherboard.

I am currently using Windows XP, if I want to upgrade, should I go for Windows Vista since Windows 7 lacks compatibility issues?

The stuff I have is completely Vista compatible and my original software's are not going to work with Windows 7.

Why does Microsoft have to release a new operating system THIS early?

I use Win7 and the only compatibility issues that I have run across is that my DS lite's usb wi-fi adapter will not work *shrug* I just connected to my wireless signal and any thing that gave me an issue I have been able to get working by simply giving it admin rights.
I have like 130+ games and everyone of them works fine if not better then it did with XP, though I have upgraded my system.
Vista has a ton of issues I have spent hours helping people get shit working with vista. Win7 > Vista
XP is nice as long as you don't want to be able to play newer games.
