Got it at a midnight release. Who else snagged one?

So far, the game's been beautiful graphically, the story is OK and the new battle system's pretty simple yet challenging at times. I was expecting much more but I guess I'm satisfied at best.

Haha. I've been broke because of booze and unemployment and haven't really invested anything towards this. Good thing my dad was generous enough last night to pay for it so I bought it last minute.

And yes, it's definitely worth it.

In Canada at Gamestop it's a gaming guarantee, so if I don't like it, I get my money back into ebgames gift certificates.

To get the 7 copies, I used their trade 3, get it free promotion. Picked up 21 games from Blockbuster for $5 each that all qualify and traded them into EB for the preorder of FF13. Went to all 7 Gamestop's by my house, got one copy at each and tomorrow I'll go tell all of them that the game is shit and return them.

I also had a $100 Blockbuster gift card so this whole thing cost me $5 of my own money. In the end I'll have $490 at Gamestop to spend on whatever I want. I plan on converting my money to Futureshop gift cards and buying a new TV.

Oh shit, I just let you all in on one of the internet's biggest secrets.

good job though dudeee. So you can return an opened game for a refund? idk if you'll open them or not, but everywhere here they'll NEVER accept an open game.. apparently it's "against the law" for some copyright reason to accept returns on open games

Ok so Lightning just died in combat and its an instant game over.. I havent played a final fantasy in a while but I'm pretty sure they let your other teammates revive the main character if he/she goes down. It just makes no sense to me since I have like 5 or 6 phoenix downs

I love it so far... I found Odin quite hard to beat, but I did it successfully after about 3 tries.
