but i would rather have a gold medal than have a stanley cup. as a player in the nhl you have a higher chance of getting a stanley cup but limited to only once every 4 years to get a medal in teh olympics.

Also, can we all just get past the fact that the olympics mean nothing to the hockey players? I mean jesus christ, let's just all stop and think here. The Olympics come every FOUR years and are watched by the ENTIRE WORLD. The NHL is watched by fat North Americans eating chicken wings and drinking beer. I know which one I would want, and as an athlete I would also know which one was much more coveted.
They're both great but I promise you that the majority of players want olympic gold.

The announcer for the CA USA last night actually compared Olympic Hockey to the allstar game as well but I don't care, everyone one is entitled to their own opinion so its whatever.

well thats fine that you highlighted the part where you used the words "a little bit like" but what fallowed that was the part of your post that i thought was completely wrong.
