Desperatly need some help

I moved to Africa a couple months ago and i havent played WoW since then and i am a little on edge tbh. And as you probably already know Africa is lagging a couple dacades behind in technology and know im stuck with a bullshit dial up connection that's around 115.2 kbps. I was living in the Netherlands before so i had the EU WoW.
My question is if i can still play wow from west Africa. The time zones are pretty much the same but im worried about latency. I hear ppl in South Africa play on EU servers and thats about twice as far away but im not sure if its worth it.
Does anyone know what my ping will be like?
Also does Bandwidth affect latency, and will broadband be a better idea?
If i get a connection around 3mpbs would i still be able to play?

I know Africa's a drag, im living here for christ sake, i just want the question answered so i can know if i can play wow again. Geez... isnt there at least one useful person on these forums??

Broadband all the way, even if the dial up does get better pings it will become easily overloaded and become useless...3mbps is perfectly fine, you could probably play WoW with 1mbps or even less.

you can have a 1Mbps line with 300ms (ping/latency) to your gaming server and 200Mbps line with the same ping, it doesn't matter. A 1-2Mbps line with a ~512Kbps Upload rate is enough i think for online gaming.

What matters is how many routers are between you and the game server, the less the better. (Start-> CMD: tracert google.com)
