Make the Forum More Organized

This is just an idea, but let's say you were to do the following:

• Remove completely the categories
• Make Introduce Yourself and The News subforums of General Discussion
• Move the No Rules Forum and Random Junk right under General Discussion
• Merge the Videos, Pictures, Music and Television/Movies forums into some sort of Media forum
• Change the forum American Deals 's name to Deals and make Canadian Deals a subforum of that
• Change Gaming Community General Discussion to Gaming Community, make Ban Disputes a subforum of that
• Merge PC Games and Console Games into one Games forum, move all subforums to that forum
• Change General Help Forum's name to Help Forum, make School and Computer Help subforums of that

That would unchallengeably make the forums a lot more organized and easy to read.

I agree but I also strongly disagree.. I like the Idea of The News being a sub forum of General discussion and merging PC and consoles together but thats it.

Interesting. I could agree with some stuff that might work, but No rules and Random junk are fine where they are in my opinion. The news could be moved under General Discussion, I'll think about that.

I would move Videos/Pictures/Music/TV into one forum, but I want to get category icons implemented first, then people could easily differentiate the type of thread it is. (It's a somewhat complicated customization apparently, so I have to get my coder to work on it)

The deals forum will probably be removed soon anyways, but there are a LOT of Canadians on here, so they deserve more than a mere sub-forum

The rest of your suggestions are minor but do-able, so I'll see if I'll perhaps make some changes this weekend

Keep in mind the example has over 1000 users logged in, this forum hasn't seen that many users logged in at one time since the last time you went live, and the chances of you going live in the near future is that of god existing. Anyways, that forum is much more active so it needs more sections, the way yours are at the moment is good for now but not prepared for expansion.

I'll make changes when I need to The forum is targeted very specifically towards pranks calls, and the people who have listened to the ones I've done. 95% of my fan base have never used a forum before, nor do they know what the point of it it (so it doesn't surprise me that many don't join, or post once and never come back)

They're only really used to MySpace and Facebook
