Ever since, as you said, it's been getting worse. Small venue shows are much more worth going to these days..

The only music festival I go to anymore is Lollapalooza, it's an 8 hour drive, but it is so worth it. I'd also go to coachella if I could.

The only ones I'd really go for are Breathe Electric and The Rocket Summer. A few others that I kind of listen to every great once in awhile, but I dunno.

The only reason I'd go to the warped tour is for the potential comedy goldmine that lays within the people who go to them because they like all of the bands. The only event that gathers more goofballs in one place is the gathering of the juggalos.
