What's the point of the pictures section?

What's the point of the pictures section when every time you post a picture you get redirected to the Random Pictures That Don't Need Their Own Thread Thread. How about you merge Videos & Pictures together and call it Media or something. It'd make more sense.

uh well the Random Pictures That Don't Need Their Own Thread Thread is there for pictures that are kinda funny, but not that massively funny.. no point in making a thread for 1 photo

Well, yeah but that just cuts down on the number of threads being made in the section. Would make more sense if videos and pictures would just become one section.

Not going to happen bro, I got over 40 people to vote yes on merging the gaming forums into a single section and nothing was done.

honestly.. does it really matter, does the extra scrolling have an inch down the screen hurt you or something?
would be annoying having to go into video and picture forum and then picking either videos or pictures.

It's not even that though, it'll just make the forum look nicer. And no, you wouldn't have to choose, you go into a Media section and you have both pictures and videos. You don't go any farther.

Well the random pictures thread is for random pointless pictures. I dont think any singular picture is worth making a thread over but I like the threads like Post your pictures, Random Pictures, Post your cars Etc. The ones everyone can post a picture in .

I wanted to do that MONTHS ago (like 8), but I needed a trusted coder to implement icons to represent each icon, and I didn't find someone that I wanted to use yet. I might have some work done on the site in the beginning of February, and those icons are on my to-do list.

Also, I might merge the two sections and call it media.. we'll see
